"Aftermath" by Chuck Wendig is a thrilling and action-packed novel that takes place in the aftermath of the destruction of the Death Star in "Return of the Jedi." The story follows a group of characters, including rebel pilot Norra Wexley, her son Temmin, ex-Imperial loyalty officer Sinjir, and bounty hunter Jas Emari, as they navigate the chaos and uncertainty following the fall of the Empire.

Wendig does a fantastic job of capturing the post-war atmosphere of the Star Wars universe, with its political intrigue, power struggles, and moral ambiguity. The characters are well-developed and engaging, each with their own motivations and struggles. Norra, in particular, is a strong and determined protagonist who is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve her goals.

The plot is fast-paced and full of twists and turns, keeping readers on the edge of their seats until the very end. Wendig's writing style is engaging and immersive, making it easy to get lost in the story and become emotionally invested in the characters' fates.

Overall, "Aftermath" is a fantastic addition to the Star Wars canon that explores the aftermath of the original trilogy in a fresh and exciting way. Fans of the franchise will not be disappointed with this thrilling and action-packed novel.
