I recently read "The Nightingale" by Kristin Hannah, and I absolutely loved it. The story follows two sisters in Nazi-occupied France during World War II, and their struggles to survive and resist the occupation in their own ways. The writing is beautiful and emotional, and the characters are so well-developed that I felt like I knew them personally. The novel is a powerful and heart-wrenching tribute to the women who played a crucial role in the war effort, but whose stories are often overlooked. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys historical fiction or stories of resilience and courage.
