I recently read "The Silent Patient" by Alex Michaelides and I must say, it was a gripping psychological thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. The story follows Alicia Berenson, a famous painter who is convicted of murdering her husband and then stops speaking altogether.

The novel is told through the perspective of Theo Faber, a psychotherapist who becomes obsessed with Alicia's case and is determined to get her to speak again. As Theo delves deeper into Alicia's past and the events leading up to her husband's murder, he uncovers dark secrets and shocking twists that kept me guessing until the very end.

I was thoroughly impressed with the author's ability to create a tense and atmospheric story that kept me hooked from start to finish. The characters were well-developed and complex, and the pacing was perfect, with just the right amount of suspense and mystery to keep me turning the pages.

Overall, "The Silent Patient" is a must-read for fans of psychological thrillers. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a gripping and thought-provoking read.
